Okay, so, I wanted to talk about this whole “Remake Yves Saint Laurent YSL ENVELOPE BAG Original order” thing. You know, that fancy bag everyone’s going crazy about? I decided to try my hand at remaking it, just to see what all the fuss is about.
First off, I started by looking at a bunch of pictures online. I mean, a lot of pictures. I wanted to get a really good sense of the bag’s shape, size, and all those little details that make it a YSL, you know?
Next, I got some leather. Not the super expensive kind, just some decent quality stuff from a local shop. And, I dug out my old sewing machine, the one my grandma gave me. It’s a bit clunky, but it gets the job done.
- Finding the right leather: This took a bit of time, I visited a few shops.
- Setting up my sewing machine: This thing is ancient, so it needed some oiling and a new needle.
- Cutting the leather: I made a rough pattern based on the pictures I found.
Then came the hard part – actually sewing the thing together. Let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks. I messed up a few times, had to rip out some seams, and re-do them. My fingers got pretty sore, too!
The YSL Logo
The trickiest bit was probably the YSL logo. I decided to hand-stitch it, ’cause I thought it would look more authentic. Well, let’s just say it took a lot of patience. I tried my best to make it look like the real deal.
After many hours of work, I finally finished it! It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of it. It definitely looks like a YSL Envelope Bag, even if it’s not made by YSL themselves.
Honestly, it was a fun project, but a lot more work than I expected. It really made me appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into those expensive designer bags. Would I do it again? Maybe. But next time, I might just save up and buy the real thing! It’s just a bag, though. But a fancy one, for sure.
